Immediately following the Ugly Sweater party, a group of us drove to the coast for a weekend at a condo.

We went to Coos Bay to visit Jesse's biological mom's family. It was Josiah's first time to meet them!

Josiah hasn't yet been crawling or rolling, but somehow he scoots all over the place. He was laying right in the center of the mat, and then turned himself completely the other direction and off of the mat.

I needed some official 4 month pictures of Josiah, so I took these:

 

December 24th, 2009

Christmas Eve! Since we've been married, we've had my mom and brother come to my house. Jesse makes a big, delicious meal, we exchange gifts after reading the Nativity story, and watch some holiday flick. This year, Jesse wanted his family over too. So, we invited Jesse's dad Jim, brother Michael, and Jim's 2 foster kids. It was different than previous years, but a nice way to celebrate the holidays.

  

And we thought, just a week before Christmas, that we weren't going to do Christmas presents this year due to a lack of money. But God provided and we had more presents around our tree than we've ever had before!

Christmas Day! We went to my aunt's house and celebrated with a large part of my extended family.
